2009 DoDEA Grant Kick-Off Conference – Scottsdale, AZ, December 7–8,
2009
The project director and evaluator from each of the 2009 DoDEA Grantees attended
this initial conference, in which they met with DoDEA and Evaluation Technical Assistance
Center staff, gathered pertinent information about managing their grant, and learned
useful strategies for maximizing the effectiveness and results of their program’s
evaluation. The agenda included general sessions attended by all participants, as
well as several small group sessions for project director and evaluator collaboration.
ETAC staff was on hand to help project teams refine or develop plans for evaluating
grant activities and outcomes.
